HCA: Healthcare Congress Alliance
The Healthcare Congress Alliance (HCA), formerly the ‘Liaison Working Group in the Healthcare Congress Industry’ is active in establishing closer working relationships with all organizations and societies involved in the delivery of global healthcare congresses.
In addition to IPCAA, current active members are the Health Care Exhibitors Association (HCEA) and the International Association of Professional Congress Organizers (IAPCO).
The group meets frequently to discuss common issues and to encourage a consensus leading to a common approach to resolving these issues. Frequently the group receives officers of medical societies as its guests.
The group has published under the banners of IPCAA, IAPCO & HCEA several documents for the guidance of the healthcare industry, medical societies and congress organizers.
