The day-to-day activities of IPCAA are conducted through taskforces, small working-groups set up by the council of IPCAA with specific on-going responsibilities in selected therapeutic areas.
Taskforces are mainly composed of member-company representatives with interests in the field, but non-members also collaborate in some areas. Currently, taskforces are active in the following therapeutic areas:

Taskforces are open to all member companies, who are encouraged and welcome to participate. Therapeutic taskforces are now seen as the key link between the healthcare industry, medical societies and congress organisers. Taskforces maintain regular contact with organisers to ensure the implementation of IPCAA Guidelines.
