Compliance/CME Workshop 2012

The recently held IPCAA Compliance/CME Workshop received positive feedback from the almost 50 participants.

Expert speakers presented and discussed aspects of compliance and CME in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. There was much interaction in the form of working groups and discussion and a great opportunity for networking.

Membership of the Association is open to internationally active healthcare companies engaged in medical congresses. All member companies must maintain a permanent healthcare-oriented research programme.

OBJECTIVES

Promote the highest possible standards at medical congresses

Establish a common and consistent congress policy through recognised partnership with medical societies

Ensure optimum benefit for all parties involved in medical congresses

Exchange experience, data and documentation on medical congresses

Organise meetings of members to exchange knowledge and information about medical congresses

Organise training courses and seminars for those involved in medical congress management

Maintain a Code of Conduct and Guidelines on the organisation of and participation in medical congresses

REGULATORY

IPCAA is able to play a major role in promoting awareness and understanding of regulatory code conditions, both within the healthcare industry, and also to other stakeholders
