Compliance/CME Workshop 2012 view programme and register

Education is viewed as a key part of the role of the Association, covering topics such as CME, compliance and regulatory issues via its own seminars, as well as collaborating with other bodies in the organisation and content of education courses and information events.

One-day IPCAA seminars have traditionally been held annually for members on latest CME and Compliance issues and current challenges associated with these topics. These events are now being opened up to non-members based on growing interest from diverse external stakeholders such as PCOs, medical society representatives, meetings planners and hotels.

IPCAA officers and representatives continue to play an increasing part in supporting events and conferences organised by meeting industry associations and other representatives, presenting on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry aspects of industry viewpoints, corporate organisation and congress-related regulatory topics. This is perceived as an essential activity, to ensure that those involved in organisation of medical meetings reflect fully the industry codes and constraints in their planning, to achieve smooth organisation and running of congresses.
