Edition 34 - Election of Officers – New Council member appointed
The General Assembly confirmed the appointment of Nis Hatt of F. Hoffmann-La Roche to the IPCAA Council.
Nis started his career in the pharmaceutical industry at Novo Nordisk A/S as International Marketing Coordinator ; after promotion to the position of
International Marketing Manager, he transferred to another Danish company - Lundbeck A/S, where he took responsibility for International Congress and Event Management.
He later moved to Basel, Switzerland, as Senior Global Event Manager (Oncology) for Roche and since January 2009 has worked as Head of Global Event Management at Roche.
In addition, Pavla Lotova – UCB, Jane Puckett – Merck, and Nicky Simpson – Astellas, were elected to a second term on Council, having all completed their first three year term in 2009.
Voting also confirmed the release from Council of Thomas Holbaek – Novo Nordisk, who had recently tendered his resignation from the Council.
