Anna has wide knowledge and experience of the pharmaceutical business, having occupied various positions during a career spanning more than 20 years in the industry.
After gaining an MBA in business management from Uppsala University in Sweden, she joined Pharmacia AB as a national sales representative. From there she moved to Bristol Myers Squibb in Sweden, occupying various positions within the marketing department.
Anna joined AstraZeneca’s International Marketing department in 1996 and, among other responsibilities, lead the successful development of the global branding of Nexium as part of the global launch team. Currently Anna heads up the Global Conference and Exhibition Department, responsible for more than 25,000 delegates and 200 meetings per year. Anna is the mother of three children and in her spare time she enjoys any kind of sporting activities. |
