Therapeutic Taskforces

IPCAA task forces, appointed by the Council, are an important part of the Association’s on-going engagement and interaction with medical societies, congress organisers and other parts of the healthcare industry. Each task force has specific on-going responsibilities in a selected therapeutic area.
Task forces are mainly composed of member-company representatives with interests in the field, but non-members also collaborate in some areas. Currently, task forces are active in the following therapeutic areas:

In addition, the formation of new task forces – covering the ophthalmology and respiratory areas, is under consideration.
Task forces are open to all member companies, who are encouraged and welcome to participate. Task forces maintain regular contact with congress organisers to ensure the implementation of IPCAA Guidelines.
The activities of the task forces, having developed very close working relationships with many congress organisers and medical societies over a long period of time, addressing matters from different perspectives other than revenue.
