• The most evident benefit of IPCAA membership is commitment to a common and consistent congress policy shared among a full range of member companies and reflected in IPCAA’s Congress Guidelines and interactions with congress organisers, medical societies, etc. The fulfilment of such a policy is implied in the Code of Conduct to which each member company must subscribe.
  
• The single most important reason for any company becoming a member of IPCAA is to be part of a representative body: the Association can only be seen to truly represent the full healthcare industry in medical congresses when all the major participants are active members. 
  
• However, for most members of IPCAA the real achievement is to be found in inter-member support, networking and exchange of views, and thus the forum for an exchange of views which otherwise would not be possible among individual companies

In addition, there are many other practical benefits which membership brings:

• inter-member support, extensive networking opportunities on a global basis, and exchange of views and experiences
• participation in therapeutic area taskforces and joint access to congress organisers
• active sponsor input into individual congress guidelines, bid manuals and planning
• access to congress budgets (as more and more organisers share their financing with IPCAA)
• educational/informational activities for member company personnel, (as well as potentially for 3^rd party organisations)
• exchange of updated international regulatory reviews/compliance issues etc
• updates on global, regional and local CME aspects
• regular IPCAA newsletter
• feedback from interactions on behalf of IPCAA members with other organisations active in, or impacting on medical meetings, such as HCA, ICCA, IFPMA, IAPCO, AIPC, AC Forum etc
